Through the Chance Initiative, participants receive structured support designed to help them build a clear path forward.

Participants work with mentors and the LifeWorks Pro Company to create a Forward Plan that helps them move toward meaningful goals.

The foundation does not select participants based solely on hardship.

Participants are chosen based on readiness, sincerity, and commitment to moving forward.
What Support May Include
Participants in the program may receive support such as:

• life development mentorship
• health and wellbeing guidance
• career or business mentorship
• strategic planning and direction
• access to resources and opportunities

Each participant works with mentors and The LifeWorks Pro Company to develop a Forward Plan designed to help them move toward meaningful goals.
The Application Process
​
Step 1 — Written Application
Applicants complete a short written application describing:
• their current situation
• the challenge or opportunity they are facing
• why moving forward matters to them
​
Step 2 — Personal Story Video
Applicants submit a 3–5 minute video introducing themselves and sharing their story.
This helps us understand your personality, motivation, and goals.
Step 3 — Conversation
Selected applicants may be invited to have a conversation with the foundation team.
This is an opportunity to discuss your goals and determine how mentorship and support might help.
Step 4 — Participant Selection
Each year the foundation selects a small number of participants so that each individual receives meaningful guidance and support.

The LifeWorks Professional Network is the engine for the Foundation. Our company provides the necessary life professionals to help with the decisions and direction for The Chance foundation participants.

LifeWorks Pro partners with a carefully selected group of professionals including:

Therapists and counselors

Health and fitness professionals
Relationship specialists
Wellness experts
These professionals help clients execute the strategies developed through the LifeWorks process
